What eat emperor angelfish?
my little sister is doing an assinment about emperor angelfish and needs to know all sorts of things about them. one of the things is what eats them and i cant find it anywhere.
How long does it take for an emperor angelfish to get its mature colors?
I have had one for two years... it unfortunatly passed on me I was wondering how close it might have been to getting its mature colors.

Emperor angelfish not breathing on one side?
My emperor has been in my coppered QT tank for about 2 weeks now and has developed what seems to be black spots? He is also not breathing on his left side.
What to do - Juvenile Emperor Angelfish Scratching Gill?
I recently purchased a juvenile emperor angelfish who is currently in a 55 gallon quarantine tank. The quarantine has live rock and a sponge filter, as well as a hang on filter with fresh carbon. The water parameters test as such Nitrates > 5Nitrites 0Ammonia 0Today, I noticed him scratching at one gill. At first, I assumed he had ich. Having encountered ich in the past, I was fearful. Because he is taking a great deal of care in scratching such a specific spot, I am more doubtful that ich is the culprit. I don't have any disease experience outside of ich. He has no discoloration, no reddened areas, and I see nothing protruding from the gill. I'm tempted to use Cupramine at a concentration of 0.25 half of the dose . I recently treated a tang similarly with great success. He is such a breathtaking fish, even without his mature colors. He is also the most expensive purchase I've made on a fish. I want him to live Thanks Almost forgot to add that he is eating like a pig and is very active. As for his breathing rate, I don't have a good reference as to what is normal for the species.
