My black angelfish suddenly has a puffy, white lip?
He didn't used to... but recently I noticed his mouth is puffy and white... just yesterday one of my fish died so maybe there's some type of parasite in the water? Is there any disease, fungus, or parasite that can cause a puffy, white lip? Oh and by the way the fish that died didn't have that.
Black Angelfish nearly killed the Silver One, what am I supposed to do?
Hi, I've had one pair of angelfish for nearly 3 years now and just a few days ago the black one beat the other one half to death. I've never heard of this happening before. She went completely nuts, tore his fins and side up and damaged his eyes. They've been best friends since I bought them when they were the size of nickles and now they're the size of my palm, not including the huge fins. What could have sparked this aggressive outburst? I'm keeping the injured one in a net box in the tank to heal but every time I try to reintroduce him the black one attacks. Is there any way to fix their relationship? I know they're just fish but I'm kind of attached to them. The Silver one already had a bad eye, now I think he's blind. What should I do? Has this happened to anyone else?I can't add a divider, the other fish need their swimming space.
