Can baby angelfish eat this???
my kid & her friend are trying to breed angelfish, but I can't afford to buy a lot of shrimp day after day But there is dried shrimp that i can feed them, but I don't know if they will be able to digest it
When do Angel fry start looking like baby angelfish?
So it's been 2 and a half weeks since my fry hatched.The babies eat brine shrimp I raise myself 3 times a day and I'm also adding in small amounts of flake food to start to get them used to eating it. Some of the babies are already showing black spots, so I'm wondering when will the other's start showing their colors? I'm going to guess oranges and whites are in the mix also. When will they start to look like angelfish? They still look like any plain old fish fry, and since this is my first time raising the fry I don't know when to expect this change. What are the tiny white worms crawling on the bottom and sides of my baby angelfish tank?
My pair of mated angelfish laid eggs about a week ago and some of the eggs hatched, i seen the fry wiggling on the bottom of my tank about 4 5 days after they were laid and oneday i looked in the tank and didn't see any fry so i pulled out a piece of slate that was laying on the bottom of the tank to see if the fry was trapped under it and as i was looking closely i seen little tiny worm things crawing on the bottom and sides of the tank. I had been crumbling up some angelfish food int tiny pieces so they could eat until i could get them some brine shrimp.Could that be the reason for the little white worms?

I finally have free swimming fry, they are so cute. After months of leaving them with thier parents and being eaten, I decided to take them out and raise them myself, they seem to be doing alright they just started swimming today, any tips that you would like to share would be appreciated, thanks

I am needing some help here. We have baby angelfish. Most of them are on the bottom of the tank wriggling around. I've only seen 1 actually swimming. My husband said they can be fed 10 hours after they start swimming. He is off work tommorow, and there is no pet store near where we live. He can pick up the live food Thursday, but I don't know if they can survive that long. This is our first experience with this. How long can they survive without being fed?? Is it possible for them to survive till Thursday?? thanks
