20 gallon tanks are not suitable for angelfish. Especially not the long version. The angelfish will get TALL, and that tank is not going to work in the long run. If you plan on upgrading however, then just be prepared to get a 40g normal or tall tank. Right now, just stick with the bottom feeders. The angelfish can and will nip at things, and I've heard of them eating neon tetras whole (of course, the angelfish were much larger) You can try to find these really cool bottom feeders called Kuhli Loaches. They look like worms/ snakes, and are really neat to watch. Just have some plants for them to hide in/ near. |
