Why did my tang and angelfish die?
I've had 3 fish die in the last month. A flame angel died looked like it had an ulcer , I did tests, waited 2 weeks, then bought a keyhole angel that looked really healthy and i came home and found it belly side up on some live rock. It didn't last but 3 days. I also had a Kole yellow eyed tang die.I also have a Mandarin bought some copepods , 2 clowns, 4 damsels, starfish, crab, snails. They all seem to be doing fine. I did a thorough water test before I bought the last keyhole angelfish.. All tests were perfect. This tank cycled and i've had it for 3 months. I had diatoms have come and gone in the tank. Now there are brown algae weed like substance growing on the live sand. I can't figure out why the other fish would do well, but i can't keep tangs or angelfish for a week. I have a 75 gal w 60 pounds of established live rock. I'm done buying anymore until i can solve this.
I took back my angelfish and my neon tetras are STILL disappearing?!?!?
So i had angelfish and since they eat neon tetras in the wild i took them back and got a sunset platy and a paint mix platy which are very peaceful and got another tetra to replace the one that got eaten by the angelfish. Now my pictus spotted Catfish is being VERY territorial. But then again i have a Chinese algae eater who might have sucked the slime off of the fish and let the catfish eat the body. Those are my only 2 suspects. I know my 2 platy's didnt do it and my mollies didnt do it and the remaining now 4 neon tetra school didnt do it. I even checked behind the plants under the gravel inbeetween plants and in the filter but the body is gone. Its either my cae or my pictus spotted catfishThis isnt the first time it happened its actually the 3rd can somebody tell me who it is so i can take it back to the petstore ??
My angelfish nipped my new dwarf gourami?
ok so i just added these new neon blue dwarf gouramis to my tank. i have these angelfsh that are youg. there each 2 inchs tall and i happened to notice when i was watcing my fish that thr angelfish nipped one of my gouramis. is that ok? ornot.thanks
Should I get fancy goldfish or angelfish?
I have a 30 gallon tank. I would like to be able to have 2 or 3 of whatever fish I start with and later I want to be able to put another kind of fish in or a frog, unless my tank is too small for everyone to do well. Any advice?
What kind of freshwater angelfish do i have?
I have 2 freshwater angelfish that are still babies. One i know that she is like a ... i think soft gray or something that changes its color depending on its mood. The other one might be a gold angelfish but i dont know. She is a soft white yellow goldish color but with black stripes that fade away and come back. Someone know the answer? this isnt really important... i was just wondering

Last night I had a Bunch of baby fry in my angelfish tank, this morning I only have a few. I have a sponge on the filter. The few baby fry i have, the parents keep putting them in there mouth and spitting them out. I understand that their doing that to clean them and what not..... but where are all the other fry at??
Could 3 angelfish be okay in a 20 gal until we upgrade?
Its 20 gal TALL. I would NEVER place a fish in a tank if I did not think it was suitable. Since this is temporary they shouldn't grow 6" plus fins. They're juveniles right now.The tank holds 5 corys because corys are a fish that angels can be with. Most others don't make it. I'm just wondering if 3 angels would be ok? Its only until next year. So they shouldn't grow too much. When we get a bigger tank, I was thinking big 35 gal tank. I'm hoping for a 40 55 gallon. The tank though is going to be placed at an angle in a corner in the living room. We have a basement, so I also have to think about it going through the floor. So would 3 angels be okay with 5 corys in a 20 gal TALL. The filter is a 30 40 gallon. Filtration is NOT an issue. We also have the tank 78 84 degrees. So its toasty, and warm. So heat is not an issue. The tank will get micro swords planted and its already got cryptocorne but its " melting" right now. but its going come back. it melts because of different water chemistries. We moved it from the 10 gal which got overrun by it So would 3 angels be okay in a 20 gal? Plus the corys. In the bigger tank, we want platys, black skirts, and danios. So they will get a " community" .kelly Please don't be stupid. I know 2 can share 20 gallons. 3 Can fit in 30 gallon tank. So basically they need 10 gallons PER fish. So please don't answer if you don't know. Seriously. My friend has 12 angels in an 85 gal tank with her water meters just fine. So I think I'd go off HER advice then yours. She has angels you don't.

Hi, i recently bought 2 angel fish and did a full water change as i had a huge Java moss take over. My question is in the change i lost my beloved pleco who i had for 2 and half yeas as well as a 6 month old angel fish........ now i only have angelfish i was thinking id just keep them and get some more, so how many can be kept in my 24 gallon tank....... and what sorts of fish could be kept with themHi, before i carry on, is a 36 x 15 x 12 tank 24 gallons........ i have 3 angelfish at the min

I just got three angelfish and they r in a 10 gallon tank. Can anyone tell me what to put in the aquarium to make it an angelfish habatate. Its a freshwater aquarium.Ok the three angel r the sive of a quater which is fine for a 10 gallon.they r what i have left after my gold angel and zebra angel mated. I sold the rest. Once there big enough i will add them to my 175 gallon tank with 4 angels 6 bala shark , and 6 ranbow shark and a lot of tetras
Gourami...Angelfish...oh no...?
So basically I have 2 honey sunsets, which are GORGEOUS, and healthy. I love those little guys. But I recently got a black and silver angelfish, about the size of a quarter, and basically he himself is extremely healthy as well. He eats, though he is very picky about the quality of food. he loves when i mash up the cichlid red pellets so that he can get a lot t a time. His mouth is tiny....hahaha. BUT he is very prone for his fins being nipped, and I thought gourami's like these types were calm and non aggressive...? These gouramis are about a quarter and a nickel big. BUT I dont get this..angelfish are supposed to be aggressive? Ahhh. i really dont like seeing my gouramis nipping at my angelfish..haha. What if I got a bigger...silver dollar sized angelfish, and returned the small one...?I have a 48 Gallon
