I need to move my angelfish breeding pair?
My angelfish tank is currently in the living room, as my room was too small to house them, but now I moved into a larger room, and I want to know how to move them into the new room, without interrupting their breeding? Can I empty it out? It's a 40 gallon pretty heavy if it's full and can I bag the angels if so, together or separate? . Please I need help, thanks in advance,FD
If i put a terracotta pot in my fish tank (for angelfish breeding) will it harm my fish in anyway?

Are my angelfish breeding..or dying?
I have two " teenage" angelfish in a community 120l tank, with 5 tetras and a few others, not very many fish in fact.The tank is pretty well established now, about 6 months old and one of my anglefish is sitting by the internal filter, staring straight up. It just sits there pointing directly up to the top of the tank, hardly moving. The other anglefish is beside it, not doing much either..Are they getting jiggy?or praying to god theres a heaven?
Are my angelfish breeding?
I have 3 angelfish, and I will sell one if I get a pair, but my two largest ones, about 3 1 2 inches have breeding tubes lowered, one is pointed and one is rounded However, they are only bout 2mm long and one of my angels has a bump on it's head and the other's is flat. Anyway, the flat headed one Female? has started pecking the glass on the front of my tank... if they are breeding, do they ever breed on the glass? Or are they just being friendly? And if they do breed, would it be cross bred if one is pearlscale and one is marbled?Thanks in advance,FD
Can angelfish breed in a community tank?
I have two angelfish and 6 rams. My angels laid eggs a day ago. So far the male manages to keep the rams away, but when they hatch what are the chances of them not being eaten by the rams?

ok i have a pair of breeding angelfish. they have been in their own tank for breeding. im wanting to put them back in my community tank. do you think they will be aggressive or will they be ok with littler angels not to small and tetras?

I got 2 angelfish 2 days ago and added them to a 12g housing 3 guppies, they are great and eating perfectly, they are not bothering anyone so i got 2 of them but one of them is larger than the other one, the smaller one is 1 1 1 2" and the other is 2 3" , this is including the tail, on the first day the bigger one was staring at the wall for 6 hours, he is now much more active, the smaller one was always exploring, so i was watching the big one and i saw him pecking at a leaf, like on the surface of it, it is an anubias leaf so it is quite large, i didn't think much of it and then the next day, the larger one which is a male because he has a large hump on his head, isn't it kinda early for him to get that though? kept on chasing the smaller one which i think is a female so are they breeding or are they playing or is it aggression?Thanks

Angelfish breeding questions?
ok, so i have a 55 gallon tank at my house. i have three angelfish housed in this tank. they have been living in there for about 3 years. I have no idea how old they actually are cause i never found their age out when i purchased them. but for about two years now, i will periodically see to of my angelfish laying eggs in the tank. They are a silvery white in color. the eggs are there usually for a about 18 24 hours and thn they are gone. My question s are1 Are the eggs being lain fertile??2 Why are they disappearing?3 If they are not fertile, how do i get them fertilized how do i keep the eggs from being eaten assuming thats what they are doing Any help is appreciated I would like to try and have a successful batch of fry, but am unsure of how to go about doing it.
